Really enjoyed Bath, the hotel was quaint and peaceful opposite a pretty park. The room I booked was accommodating and elegant, complete with comfy bed, tea, for example. The food was delicious and the bar was great. My stay here was fabulous!

It was a lovely old style Villa very close to everything in Bath. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a felling of "coming home" at the end of our days outings. Would definitely stay here again if we were ever back in Bath. Only negative comment would be the limited parking spaces.

Character suitable for Bath, on site parking, very short walk on the flat to main areas of Bath. Fronted onto quiet road with easy access from out of town with very pleasant park opposite giving a very restful & relaxed feel. Owners & staff very thoughtful, helpful & considerate. Wouldn't hesitate to go again. Need to be able to climb stairs for most of the rooms.

Marvellous welcome, the staff is extremely effective and kind. Great suggestions to have dinner at Bath. We had a great time at this very interesting house. Accomodation is cosy and comfortable. Breakfast is lovely. The setting is just plain beautiful|! One of the most pleasant stays we have had so far in the uk.

It would have been an extra kindness if we had been allowed to leave the car at the private parking a couple of hours more after checkout...

Very nice, friendly and attentive staff. Good location.

There was no fridge in the room. Very good hotel, however, it is not a 5 star.

Absolutely loved the vegan afternoon tea, such creativity with specialty teas! Plus, Fudge, our dog, felt so welcomed with his little bed and treats. The view from our room was fine, too.

The breakfast, the location, ample parking and friendly staff.

We were given the room on the ground floor next to the front door and opposite the dining room. We could hear people coming and going and the clanging of china while we were still trying to sleep. Our room also overlooked the garden which, was nice but staff and other guests could be heard manoeuvring a motorised chair into the garden for storage. Also, we were told that there was a lounge but it would have been nice to be shown where it was. The room was smaller than expected for a Victorian house.

Very picturesque. Staff were very helpful and friendly from the moment of arrival. Got what it said on the tin........ 4 poster, large spacious room, etc.

Price - however this is a relative and down to perception. Plenty other establishments in the area with lesser price but with poor reviews. Although the style was victorian / georgian and it was clean, it required upgrading and modernisation as everything was well worn. I believe the new owners have a refurb planned very soon.
